This year the Opera prima Award was for Kevin Waldron and his book "Mr Peek and the Misunderstanding at the Zoo".I enjoyed very much the story and the illustrations.



The Fiction Honorable mention was for Hyewon Yum:


And there was another mention for Dan Yaccarino on his book "Every Friday".

Este año el premio Opera prima fué para Kevin Waldron y su libro "Mr Peek and the Misunderstanding at the Zoo". Me gustó mucho la historia y las ilustraciones.

I'm back! In the next days I'll post about the Bolona's bookfair and the little trip to Venice. I have a lot of pictures to show you,books and people.

Ya estoy de vuelta! En los próximos días os comentaré sobre la feria y el pequeño viaje a Venecia. Tengo un montón de fotos que enseñaros,libros y personas.

This is one of the illustrations I did for the classic tale: Hansel and Gretel.
At the end I' won't finish the project. I have some disagreements with the publisher.
Tomorrow I take a plane to Bologna! I'll show you everything I can through the pictures and nexts posts. I wish you a great week.

I'm very busy working on Hansel and Gretel these days. Not very much time to post.

I was in Julio Falagan's studio. Alberto and Julio have a new project in common: "El kit del no". It was a plesure to see the originals, two journals with great stories an drawings. I wish you the best with this project!

Estuve en el fantástico estudio de Julio Falagán. Alberto Sobrino y él han publicado su proyecto en común: "El kit del no". Fué un placer ver los originales, dos cuadernos con geniales historias e ilustraciones. Dentro de nada la presentación será en librerías. os deseo lo mejor!

Adventures

A few minutes playing in the kitchen. We couldn't ate the rice so we ate spaguettis.
Un par de minutos jugando en la cocina decidiendo que comer hoy. No pudimos comernos el arroz así que comimos spaguettis.


Life is always an adventure. Most of my friends are having adventures of all kinds: having his first child, having a second child, changing work and country, traveling, jumping in other career...
I wish you all the best. You're always inspiring. I'm happy and proud to have you as my friends.

La vida es siempre una aventura. La mayoría de mis amigos tiene aventuras de todo tipo: tienen su primer hijo, tienen su segundo hijo, cambian de trabajo y de país, cambian de profesión....
