Ilustratour 2012

A few days ago I returned from Valladolid where I spent a great week in Ilustratour 2012 (organized by the dear colleagues of I con i) attending a Benjamin Chaud's workshop (the other two workshops were given by Isidro Ferrer and Manuel Monroy)
This is the third time I attend Ilustratour and in every workshop I learned something new and not only drawing techniques or professional tips.
Unfortunately you can not know everyone but I've always been lucky to meet people who, over time, have become dear friends. I think the magic of the workshops is directly related to the people with whom you share it. Five intensive days where you spend the day working, talking, cursing and sharing fears, insecurities and passions. Well, a bunch of people who love to illustrate, loves books, design, toys and and are able to spend hours and hours talking about it (no, nobody in their right mind who is not engaged in that is able to bear it).
And
we haven't forgotten the most important (that we often forget in our lives): to play while we work .... and laugh ... we laughed a lot.
And even if all of you are not in the pictures, I remember you. Thank you for this unforgettable week.

Oh that sounds really great...do they have it every summer, or even at other times of the year? What you say reminded me of my experience at Sarmede, which was quite wonderful...
Good work, Natascha!

Thank you M. I never was in Sarmede but I imagine it must be something similar.
