Group Exhibition in Taoyuan,Taiwan

The editor of dpi Magazine has been kind enough to send me some photos of the exhibition The Paradise -- 2014 BOLOGNA International Illustration Group Exhibition in Taoyuan,Taiwan. 

A group exhibition with some of the illustrators selected in the Bologna Book Fair last year, showing other works besides those selected.

Visitors could also buy some of our postcards. :)

 La editora del dpi Magazine ha sido tan amable de enviarme unas cuantas fotos de la exposición The Paradise -- 2014 BOLOGNA International Illustration Group Exhibition in Taoyuan,Taiwan.  

Una exposición colectiva con algunos de los seleccionados en la Feria del Libro de Bolonia el año pasado, mostrando otros trabajos aparte de los seleccionados.  Los visitantes podían comprar algunas de nuestras postales. :)

dpi Magazine

A few of the selected in this year's Bologna's Book Fair, are part of the Vol.07 Art Quarter of the great Taiwanese illustration's mag dpi Magazine.

Exhibitions

One of the benefits of being selected this year's in the Bologna Book Fair is that the Illustrators exhibition will be this fall in Japan in several museums.
Also I have the luck to have been selected for an exhibition in Taiwan, in October, and they have made postcards of one of my illustrations that may be acquired during the exhibition.

Una de las ventajas de haber sido seleccionada este año en la Feria del Libro de Bolonia es que este otoño la exposisción estará en Japón, en diversos museos.
Además tengo la suerte de haber sido seleccionada para una exposición en Taiwan en Octubre y han hecho postales de una de mis obras que podrá comprarse durante la expo.

Kireii, beautiful things. (Kireii, cosas bellas). As stated by their website, the new magazine honors its name.
And not only for its content(here),but for the design and photography which make it almost a book than a magazine.
I like to collect magazines,I always check them back at some point,and Kireii will become one of my collection.
I want to thank Cristina for her invitation in this first issue. I'm very proud to have contributed to this new project of courageous women that I recommend reading. You will be not disappointed.

Cómo soy de las que le gusta coleccionar revistas, porque siempre vuelvo a consultarlas en algún momento, Kireii se va a convertir en una de mi colección.

After a terrible back pain I return to work to complete two pending projects.

I have done one page illustration for the April's edition of Nick Jr. Mag. It shows how to do a tooth tote.
It was a real pleasure to work with them, everything went so smoothly!
Last week I was very busy. I went to a school to talk to 50 kids about a book I illustrated some years ago. It was very exciting and exhausting. The funniest thing was that they wanted an autograph from me! (if they didn't have the book they wanted it drawn on their hand!) . They make me feel like a rock star!
And like the rock stars now I have the flu :(

En el número de este mes del Nick Jr. Magazine tengo una página con instrucciones de como hacer un tooth tote. (En España tenemos al ratoncito Pérez pero en este caso es una bolsita para que el hada de los dientes deje dinero cuando se te ha caído un diente).
Fué un placer trabajar con ellos, todo tan cómodo y sencillo!
La semana pasada estuve muy ocupada. Estuve en un colegio dando una charla a 50 niños sobre un libro que ilustré hace tiempo.
Fué emocionante y agotador al mismo tiempo! Lo más divertido fué que al final todos querían un autógrafo mío!! (si no tenían el libro lo querían en la mano!) . Me hicieron sentir como una estrella del rock!
Y como también les ocurre a las estrellas del rock, tengo la gripe :(
