I have to admit that one of the things I enjoy most about illustrating books is to design the endpapers.

Kapoor in Berlin

An unavoidable appointment for those passing through Berlin, until November this year,  is to see in the wonderful exhibition of Anish Kapoor at the Martin Gropius-Bau.
I've always found fascinating the Cloud Gate in Chicago so I don't wanted to miss this retrospective of his work. 
Unfortunately it is not allowed to take pictures so, with much love, I took, from the website of Anish Kapoor's, a photo of one of his works, one that I love, When I'm pregnant. (Thanks Mr. Kapoor)
It was also a shame that you couldn't touch anything (yes, I know, that is usual and understandable) because the first reaction he produces is you want to touch what you're watching to see if it's true the feeling you are having.
And it's fun to see that, no matter how old you are, anyone who sees his reflection in a distorted mirror, can't avoid making all kinds of gestures and movements .... for a moment ... big kids.

Una cita ineludible para aquellos que pasen por Berlín hasta noviembre de este año es ver la magnífica exposisción de Anish Kapoor en el Martin Gropius-Bau.
Siempre me ha parecido fascinante la Cloud Gate de Chicago así que no iba a perderme esta retrospectiva de su obra. 
Lamentablemente no se podían hacer fotos así que, con mucho cariño, he cogido de la web de Anish Kapoor la foto de una de sus obras, una que me ha encantado, When I'm pregnant. (Gracias Sr. Kapoor)
También era una pena que no se pudiese tocar nada (ya, sé que eso es lo usual y es comprensible) porque la primera reacción que produce es poder tocar aquello que estas viendo para ver si es cierta la sensación que estás teniendo.
Y es divertido ver que, no importa la edad que se tenga, cualquier persona que ve su imagen reflejada en un espejo y distorsionada, no puede evitar hacer todo tipo de gesticulaciones y movimientos....por un momento... niños grandes.
