The power of words

I'm very happy,my new website is finished. I'm fixing some little problems. If you have 2 minutes, please go and take a look. I'll appreciate all your comments and criticism.
Last year I participated, with other members from APIM (the Association of Ilustrators from Madrid) in a show commemorating the "Don Quijote" anniversary. Now the Instituto Cervantes put the show online. You can see it here.
I want to send a special THANKS to Sara (Paperlily) for the beautiful post she wrote about my work. I printed it and put it on my board. It will be a great help for the "gray" days. Thank you so much.

Gracias

I want to thank you all for the kind comments you sent regarding the Red Riding Hood box. I'm thinking of making some others, based on other themes.
I'm at the beach right now, visiting my parents. It is just like summer!! Incredible!!

A world in a box

This is the last (hmmmm... or maybe not) Red Riding Hood project. The image was in my head...now it's in a wooden box.

It's a 3D collage with fabrics, hand painted fabrics, original illustrations on paper, felt clouds hanging from the top,...
Here you can see some pictures in detail

and here with the glass protection.
A little world to hang on the wall!

More fabric collages.

I still can't help myself from taking characters from the tale "Red Riding Hood" into softpaintings, with different variations. Here we have the Wolf girl!

The point of view

I love springtime, the flowers, the green, the smells, the bright colors, the sun, everybody looks happier than usual... but it's dificult, sometimes, the mood changes so fast, for a moment everything's OK and suddenly it turns the opposite.
Have a nice and positive day!
