Pariser Platz

For 20 years the friendly and Norwegian residents of Drøbak give away to Berlin the Christmas tree located on the Pariser Platz. Personally I find it very sad that such a beautiful tree that has grown up and lived in a landscape so beautiful finishes in this square with decorations hanging from its branches.
The Jewish community has installed a huge Hanukkah Menorah (it has done since 2003).
And next to so much adornment and symbol, cold dead tourists taking pictures with performers dressed as officers of the former army of the GDR.
Christmas in Berlin (well, only part of it) :)
